Working for the rights and recognition of Indigenous Peoples
Since our first historic gathering in 1974, the International Indian Treaty Council has consisted of Indigenous Peoples from North, Central, South America, the Caribbean & the Pacific. IITC helps tribal nations & communities build their capacity to use international human rights processes to defend their rights. We work for the Sovereignty & Self-Determination of Indigenous Peoples & the recognition & protection of their Rights, Treaties, Traditional Cultures, Sacred Lands & survival.
